Alexander Schwarz

Alexander Schwarz, who studied literature and philosophy in Heidelberg and Paris, is fascinated by foreign languages, other civilizations and their religions. He is the founder of E.C.A. France Art Editions in Paris and published since 1989 portfolios with his lyrics and graphics of international artists in limited limited editions.

Due to the international orientation of E.C.A. France, with numerous exhibitions in cultural institutions and galleries, as well as regular participation in international art and book fairs, he intensified his collaboration with a great number of international artists.

The intercultural exchange with other artists, the constant contact with other cultures and religions on numerous travels to Asia and Africa and long stays in Egypt and Tunisia, inspire his own artistic realization.

Due to his special preference for all kinds of handicrafts techniques he creates since 2010 in cooperation with the ceramic studio Zoubair Selimi in Sousse (Tunisia) ceramic editions in raku technique. Since 2015 Alexander Schwarz works with the ceramic studio Bella Terra in Tunis, where he realizes in cooperation with Samia Achour ceramics in different techniques.

• 1989 Foundation of E.C.A. France Art Editions in Paris. Editions of portfolios with his texts and graphics by international artists. Organization of numerous exhibitions with cultural institutions and galleries throughout Europe, regular participation at international art and book fairs.

• 1991-2017 artistic director of the exhibition and concert agency "European Cultural Exchanges" in Geneva

• 2010-2012 artistic cooperation with the ceramic studio Zoubair Selimi in Sousse (Tunisia)

• Seit 2015 artistic cooperation with Samia Achour in the ceramic studio "Bella Terra" in Tunis.

Alexander Schwarz lives in Paris and Tunis.
